Unit also comes with an adhesive stability mount which can be attached to a dashboard whilst the unit is fixed to a windscreen to add a second point of contact to give the unit more stability, for example while driving over rougher surfaces. This piece is optional and the units successful operation is not dependant on utilizing this piece, it is simply an optional extra should you desire more stability.
